Today marks the first day of the 3rd trimester. Say what? 12 more weeks till  full term. Holy moly.

27 weeks - Tuesday, July 21, 2015

I had the glucose test this past week. I hate needles so I was dreading it. I made the mistake of looking up  youtube videos on the process. The one I watched was one where the girl had to get poked like 4 times..1 hour apart. I didn't  know that that one was the secondary test if you don't  pass the first. So I was relieved that I only had to get poke once. I always have really bad flat veins too so it makes the process all the more fun. So the girl who  was doing it was one that had tried to draw my blood previously and wasn't  able to get a vein after poking around in both of my arms. So my confidence level wasn't  so great. I tried paying attention to how much water I was drinking and just drink a TON. Ya, I guess my definition of a lot of water is less than average. Anyway, she poked around in my left arm without any luck. She then tried the top of my hand. I had never had it done on my hand so that freaked me out, but it actually was more bearable than the usual arm vein. It didn't pinch as much and she was able to get the vein a lot faster. It did bruise more, but who cares. Haha! So the blood test results haven't come back that I know of, but that's  actually a good thing. She said they will only contact us if there is a concern. So, no news is good news! The glucose drink that I had to drink beforehand was actually pretty good! People make it out to be so horrible, but to me it just tasted like a melted otterpop! I was a fan. This babe of ours was a fan cuz he was going nuts in the waiting room..moving like crazy! I guess  he got a bit of a sugar high. Haha!
Otherwise, nothing new here. Until next week...

I'm a day late,  but 26 weeks was yesterday!  Some things I've been noticing are that I keep getting charlie horses while I sleep!  SO annoying. Getting more stretch marks.  Otherwise good!

25 weeks - Tuesday, July 7, 2015

Apparently my uteris is the size of a soccer ball at this point. Its crazy,  but that's actually reassuring because that means this is all baby! I guess there's  also a downside to that. That being that we've got a big boy and I'm going to have to push him out either way! The birth actually freaks me out a bit, but i just try to not think about it. 15 more weeks! CRAZY!
