5 months

Another month down.  Not a whole lot is new from last month. He still loves to stand. If he's awake and not eating, he has to be standing. I got him a walker that he likes for about 2 minutes. He tries to walk with help. He takes steps, but still needs us to be his crutch. He is still in size 3 diapers.
He can roll over from stomach to back when he really wants to. Haha he has done it a handful of times on his own, but he gets impatient and gives up sometimes. I found a pillow thing that is suppose to help with the flat head issue. (find that item here) I haven't noticed much yet since he's used it only 2 nights so far. I noticed that he wiggles around a lot more with the pillow though so I'm thinking he's not a big fan of it. I thought that he wasn't sleeping as well since he was using it, but I took it away for a couple days and nothing has changed. So I'm thinking he's just teething.
We think he has been teething for a couple months now. He has been super slobbery and wanting to eat EVERYTHING. No teeth have surfaced yet though. We THINK we see a small spot as of the last couple days that MIGHT be a tooth. We'll see what the next few days bring.
For awhile he prettymuch would not take tylenol after the first taste.  He would prettymuch spit it all out. I gave that a break for awhile (plus he didn't need it). In the meantime he has tried baby food for the first time. Since doing so, that has helped him accept tylenol when necessary now. As far as baby food goes, he doesn't like to eat a lot at once, but will take maybe 1/4 of a container per night on a good night. His first taste was carrot. He liked it. His digestive system didn't. He didn't poop for 5 days after trying it.
Of course that resulted in a huge blowout. He hates prunes. But hey, so do I..so I don't blame him. He wasn't crazy about peas at first, but liked it better the second try. He likes banana, carrot, and sweet potato most. I got this chicken flavored food and he literally was gagging instantly when he tried it. Haha sounds disgusting to me too. But ya, so we won't be doing meat baby food again.  I will let him try certain things that I eat depending on what it is. I cut up an apple and was eating that so I let him suck on the apple with my supervison and he really liked it! I think he liked that it soothed his gums and then plus the taste. Sometimes I'll blend up banana and strawberry or whatever fruit we have and let him try some and he is usually a fan of that also. He gets tired of everything pretty quick though.
He has been battling cradle cap pretty bad. Every remedy I've looked up hasn't really worked that well. I tried coconut oil twice before a bath and then trying to comb the hair through the gunk, but it didn't do much of anything. I had to really scrub, but that just irritated his scalp. So I didn't do his whole head.
Damon is a big homebody. Whenever I have arrends or things to do away from home, he is a lot more irritable when we get back home. Plus he recently hates his carseat. Whenever we have chill days where it's mostly just hanging out at home, he's an angel!  He does get cranky, but that's nothing a walk around the block won't fix. I'm NOT looking forward to the hot weather taking that from us. I guess we will just live in the pool.
