1 year and 3 months

Damon is learning so much so fast. He learned to blow kisses this past month. He's becoming quite the runner nowadays and building his physical coordination so fast. He has turned into being a pretty picky eater. He only likes certain foods when he wants to. It changes daily. Lately he has started shoving what seems to be his whole hand in his mouth to the point where it makes him gag. He has thrown up twice because of this. It drives me nuts and I plan on bringing it up at his next doctors appointment. I recently got called into nursury at church so he has started nursury a few months early.  He seems to keep up fairly well with the big kids when he stays far enough out of the way for those extra rowdy kids. He is becoming very mischievous as he likes to explore everything and everywhere. He cracks me up constantly. I can never stay mad at him for long. Lately, people have said that he looks more like Adam right now. I see more of Adam in him every day. He had a fun Christmas this year as he was more involved with everything. He loved his toys and finally got his own vaccume and lawn mower. Those seem to be his favorite toys. He and I went with my mom and sister and her kids to Pinetop to see my grandparents this past week. There wasn't any snow, so he has sadly not experienced that yet. But, it was a good time and he had fun with his cousins for a few days. Damon is becoming a very independent kid. He doesn't like to be bothered much. But there are times when he just wants to be held and I'm grateful for those moments. He still wakes up at least 2x during the night. I'm not dead yet so I think we're ok! He only breastfeeds himself to sleep (including naps) now. I am hesitant to wean him off breast milk because of hia picky eating habits. Its nice having nursing as a backup. But I do plan on bringing that up at his doctors appointment as well.  I can't  (but can) wait to see him grow more.  He's my best friend and I love him so much.
