This past week has been a whole lot better! I think my appetite is prettymuch back to normal. I haven't felt nauseous for awhile. So, I'm hoping that has passed. I feel like I'm finally starting to show. I can hide it with loose clothing, but it is there. At my doctors appointment, they said I had lost 1lb. Also that I had a little bit of protein in my urine. She said she wasn't concerned about it and figured it was probably related to being sick recently. She said that if it were later on in the pregnancy or keeps reoccurring, that it can be a sign of preeclampsia, but rarely this early on. So, we'll be keeping an eye on that. Plus, I was told to drink LOTS more water. She suggested a gallon per day. We got the paperwork to schedule or ultrasound too, so that's exciting! Otherwise, nothing new this week.

The past week has been a hard one. I got sick on Wednesday with diarrhea and throwing up a good chunk of the day a and wasn't able to eat much except saltine crackers and ginger ale. I lost another 5lbs just in that day send have had a hard time gaining it back. My appetite is still less than half of what it normally is. Sadly, it's looking like Mexican food is making me more sick. I'm not sure how we're going to survive since that's like 90% of my diet.. but it'll be an adventure I'm sure. I weigh about 8lbs less than I did before this pregnancy. Super rich food makes me sick. I don't know where this came from. I'm hoping it's just my body trying to get over whatever sickness I had and that this will go away. My next doctors appointment is this week. I'm sure they aren't going to be excited about my weight loss, but I'm doing what I can!

1 year and 8 months
Damon is loving swimming this year! He is cautious which is comforting for me, but he likes to jump off the pool deck into my arms and I just hope he isn't ever going to jump while someone isn't ready. We got him floaties, but he's not a huge fan of them of course. I think he is starting to teeth with his 2yr molars. He just seems more needy and tends to slobber more than normal. He's not a big slobbery boy, so there's a difference. He isn't so good at sleeping in his own bed the whole night. He usually will go at least a 3-4hr stretch and then come into our bed. I've stopped breastfeeding. It's been about 2 weeks. He's doing good. He didn't have a hard transition at all like I was worried about. I think I have had the hardest time just mentally because I love nursing so much. I'm hopeful that the next baby will breastfeed well. Damon recently discovered that he likes tge apple sauce squeeze pouches. He didn't like them at first, but I think it was with a different flavor. He had his first week in Nursery without me, but it did not go quite as well as I hoped. He didn't notice much at first..so I snuck out. Obviously that didn't last long and I ended up coming back in and staying. I have been subbing in there since then so we have not been able to try again yet. We will see how it goes!

We are moving right along with this pregnancy.. So fast it's scary. I have been feeling fairly well. Nausea has gone down. I haven't gained much weight yet.. if any. I'm ok with this. I can't believe we're in the second trimester already. Nothing really new to share since last week except that the nausea has gotten better. I think I'm starting to show finally a TINY bit. It's easy to hide and most people don't even think twice about it even when visible. I can just tell that it's tightening up down there.. more than just the fat I already had there. The baby is about the size of a jalapeno right now.

So far, I can say I've thrown up once this pregnancy. Recently, everyone at our house got a cold and with that came coughing up mucus. My gag reflex is SO bad. Result? Yep. Haha I almost throw up every time I brush my teeth. It's a battle. My appetite sucks and I still weigh less now than I did pre-pregnancy. Baby is about the size of an apricot now. I have felt the occasional flutter, but so far.. not as much as Damon was in the womb. We will see how that changes as this baby grows.
