2 months

2 months already. It's weird to think he's only been here 2 months, but at the same time, seems like just yesterday we brought him home. He is such a good baby. He still has a lingering cough that never seems to completely go away. It's almost gone- only random coughs during the night at this point. Amid all the corona virus craziness, it almost has made me wonder if it could be something like that, but it's far fetched I'm sure. He is sleeping well compared to Damon and Jade at this age. I have learned to not jump to the rescue any time he starts wiggling or making noise in the middle of the night. I think that has helped learn to soothe himself a little bit. The past week, he has had more days good than bad as far as sleeping in long spurts throughout the night. He has given me a few nights where he sleeps till 4am or later on the first stretch. I am crossing my fingers that it will stick, but I'm not counting on it. He has developed a nice little bald spot on the back of his head where he rubs it. So far, no flat spot so that's been nice. He has a clogged tear duct that's been goopy, but nothing serious. I remember having the issue with at least one of the other kids too, so it's nothing new to me. It's interesting looking back on when Reid was born. He came out crying a lot and cried more than our other 2 newborns. Now I would say he's the easier of the 3. We will see how that changes.
