I know I say this every month, but I can't believe how fast he's growing. He has graduated to size 3 diapers..Pretty much a month ago. He seems to be getting pretty tall..not that I'm surprised. He loves to stand as long as he has help! It has become more and more obvious that he has started teething. No teeth have come through the gums yet though. He tries to put his whole hand in his mouth. He also loves to eat my hands or basically anything he can get a hold of like blankets, toys, etc. He also seems like it may be a bit sore as well. His hair has started to come back in a little bit, which is nice. It's nice and long in the back where it never fell out. Hopefully that means we can do a fohawk soon!
Prettymuch our whole household had a cold recently.. including myself. I kept hoping that somehow he wouldn't get it, but I think he did a little bit. It didn't seem to last more than a day. So hopefully the antibodies on my breastmilk have helped! He mostly just seems bothered lately by his gums. He had his first dose of tylenol to help him sleep a couple times recently and did well. He wasn't sure what to think of the taste, but took it well. He is currently in 9 month old clothing. I don't know if clothing companies just suck at sizing or if he's a giant, but it's crazy. In light of Valentines day marking his 4 month mark, we did a love theme photoshoot. Such a chunk. 16lbs, 28in tall! At the doctors appointment, I asked about the flat spot on the back of his head. He said I can do the helmet route if I want, but its not 100% necessary. Studies have showed that the babies head will naturally round out over time and he helmet doesn't make a huge difference. So I'm waiting it out and if it doesnt get better then maybe we will do a helmet.
