29 weeks

The weeks keep flying by faster and faster. I feel like I have recently started thinking more about how things will change as far as parenting Damon when baby girl arrives. For example, right now whenever Damon goes to sleep, I usually stay by his bedside till he falls asleep (for naps and night time). This will be harder once the baby is born because of the time and attention that will be needed for her. I'm sure we will figure out a way around it if needed, but at this point I feel like I need to start weaning Damon off depending on me being there RIGHT next to him while he falls asleep. Adam can always take the baby or help Damon too, but Damon should be learning to not depend on me in that way anyways. So ya, there are little routine things that I do now that won't be so easy to do once the baby is here too. I try to envision how little day-to-day tasks will be with another child with me and it can be overwhelming sometimes, but I know we'll figure it out and adjust quicker than I'm expecting because that's how it was with Damon. It felt like he was always a part of our family and felt so natural to have him there. It was most weird to think of how life was BEFORE he was with us. We are so excited to meet baby girl and can't wait to see life change for the better for our family in that way! I am doing well... nothing to report there.
