2.5 weeks old

Reid had his urologist appointment a couple days ago which went well. During the appointment,  a PA came into the room and examined him first and said it looked normal and healthy (no hypospadias) and then left the room to get the urologist. He came into the room and also examined him with the same response. He said it looked perfectly healthy aside from the half circumcision. They then let me know that they will still have to put him under anesthesia to finish the circumcision because of his current situation being half done. I asked them if it were possible that during the procedure that they might find that he does have a hypospadias and what would happen then. He said that if they did find something they would just take care of it while they have him under. He explained that if the hospital is unsure they will step back and let the urologists do it to avoid conflict. So they basically misdiagnosed him. I'm obviously not happy because I don't want my baby to go through all of this. It's hard enough doing 1 regular circumcision. Let alone doing it 2x and having him put under general anesthesia for it! All because "they didn't know" in the hospital. They won't do the procedure till he is 3 months old, but that's still so young! I'm frustrated and nervous about it all. Otherwise he acts totally normal and everything is going as smooth at possible. He is settling in nicely and he has his next pediatrician appointment in a week or so.
